Warehouse Racking Systems

Warehouse Racking Systems

Berry Material Handling supplies and installs modular offices, wire partitions, mezzanines, and more, helping Kansas facilities maximize existing space.

Warehouse Racking

Getting your storage right is one of the most important decisions you’ll make for your warehouse. The wrong racking system wastes space, slows your team down, and creates safety risks. The right one gives you more capacity, better product access, and a safer working environment.

Berry Material Handling carries a full range of racking systems and works with you to figure out what actually fits your space and how you operate. We serve warehouses across Wichita, Topeka, Salina, and Garden City.

Pallet Racking

Selective pallet racking is the most widely used storage system in warehouses today. It gives you direct access to every pallet, works with standard forklifts, and scales easily as your inventory grows. It’s a solid starting point for most operations.

Cantilever Racking

Cantilever racks are designed for long, heavy, or awkward materials like lumber, pipe, steel bar stock, and furniture. There are no front columns to work around, so loading and unloading is straightforward with a forklift or by hand.

Drive-In / Drive-Through Racking

These systems let forklifts drive directly into the rack structure to place or retrieve pallets. Drive-in works on a last-in, first-out basis. Drive-through allows access from both ends. Both are great for high-density storage of similar SKUs.

Push Back Racking

Push back systems use a cart-and-rail design that allows pallets to be stored 2 to 6 deep. When a new pallet is loaded, it pushes the previous one back. When one is removed, the rest slide forward automatically. Good for medium-depth storage with multiple SKUs.

Pallet Flow Racking

Pallet flow uses gravity-fed rollers to move pallets from the loading end to the picking end automatically. It operates on a first-in, first-out basis, which makes it a natural fit for perishable goods, time-sensitive inventory, or high-volume pick operations.

Carton Flow Racking

Carton flow systems use inclined roller or wheel lanes to move individual cases or cartons from the back of the rack to the front pick face. They work well in pick-and-pack environments where order accuracy and pick speed matter. A solid option for distribution operations.

Steel Bar Racks

Steel bar racks are built specifically for storing bars, tubes, rods, and other long metal stock. They keep material organized, off the floor, and accessible without the hazards that come with floor-stacked piles. Available in horizontal and vertical configurations.

Over Dock Storage Racks

Over dock racks make use of the unused space directly above dock doors, a spot most warehouses completely ignore. They’re a practical way to add storage for pallets, empty containers, or seasonal product without taking up any floor space.

Custom Built Racks

Don’t see what you’re looking for? We are a Steel King dealer as well as we have a custom metal fabrication department that can custom build racking to meet your needs. Reach out to our team today to explore solutions for you.

Warehouse Safety & Guarding

Racking systems are only as good as the protection around them. Column guards, end-of-aisle protectors, rack netting, safety barriers, and bollards help absorb impact before it becomes a collapse risk or a OSHA issue. We can help you identify the right guarding products to protect your investment and your people.
