All Mercury tow tractors feature a one -piece welded frame designed to protect components through a long service life, with reinforcement at high stress areas.
The rugged one-piece frame features a massive 3” (76.2 mm) rear bumper, and .75” (19.05 mm) front bumper. Fenders and entry step are an integral part of the frame. Low profile hood tapers forward and slopes down for better visibility. Easy lift hood makes service easier.
Leaf spring suspension, with bronze bushings is a feature unique to A&G Mercury Tow Tractors, which provides a smooth ride and reduces shock loads to steering system. Standard hydraulic power assist steering is mechanically connected to the steering axle for manual steering in case of pressure failure.
Four-wheel disc brakes are hydraulic power assisted with dual split chamber master cylinder, front and rear independent with nitrogen charged accumulator for power assist in case of hydraulic failure. Standard colors are Safety Yellow, and Safety Orange.
The drive axle is equipped with wet disk brake which gives you the best possible stopping conditions available.
